About Us
The Government of India launched the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) in March 2009 as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme to improve access to and the quality of secondary education, particularly for students in the 14–18 age group.
The scheme aimed to make secondary education accessible to more students, improve educational standards and increase the enrolment rate at the secondary level. One of its key objectives was to raise the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) from 52% in 2005–06 to 75%.
In line with the broader vision of accessible and quality secondary education, Government High School Kanhera strives to provide students with a supportive learning environment and opportunities for academic and personal growth.
The school offers Hindi-medium education for Classes 9 and 10 under the Uttar Pradesh Board (UP Board).
